Frequently Asked Questions
Where do I go to check in?
On Sundays and Wednesdays, all kids check in at the left side entrance to the auditorium by the church office. Check with someone at the welcome desk in the lobby if you need help locating this area.
What curriculum is used for Piney Grove Kids?
For Kids Ministry, our Sunday morning classes use the DIG IN program from Group Publishing, and Wednesday evening groups use The Gospel Project. During VBS, our team chooses a program from Group Publishing or Answers in Genesis each year.
Can I pre-register my child, so check-in goes faster the first time our family attends?
Yes! Please email christie.lynn@pineygrovetrenton.com to let us know when you plan to visit Piney Grove.
Will my child wear a security label?
Yes, you will place a security label on your child at check-in. This allows our team to match children and parents’ labels to verify who is authorized to pick up children.
Why does Piney Grove use a check-in system?
In addition to promoting a safe pick-up procedure, the Church Center check-in system can provide reports so team leaders can know who checked in, where, who dropped them off, who picked them up, and when if the need arises.
Are background checks run on staff and volunteers?
Yes! Everyone who serves in any kids or students ministry at Piney Grove have passed a background check through a third-party screening agency.
